A gift-in-kind is any donation of goods or property that is part of a fundraiser (i.e., auction). Such donations are tax deductible, while donations given directly to the client for private benefit are not. Please note: Help Hope Live will not take title of donated assets or goods and does not authorize any community volunteer to do so on its behalf.
